This EU funded programme is an important initiative to support the increased competiteveness of the regions in Serbia. Firstly to  help generarate sustainable employment and to develop the capacity for the regional development of Serbia, aligned to European Best practices.

SUPPORT TO REGIONAL STRATEGY ELABORATION

The RSEDP2 Programme has produced 3 Technical Guidance Notes on Regional Strategy Formulation as part of its support to the Regional Development Agencies of Serbia. The Guidance Notes cover the process of Strategy Formulation, the use of SWOT Analysis and the socio-economic profiling of a region. In addition to these publications, RSEDP2 participates in the strategy building process in a number of RDAs and will be organizing a workshop on Regional Development Strategy in September 2010.
